Custom website development

Most service businesses are running a brochure. It describes the company, it looks acceptable, and it does nothing. Visitors read it, leave, and call whoever answers first. The site is a cost, not an asset.

We build the site as the front end of an operating system. It is designed around how your customers actually decide, it loads fast enough to survive a phone on a bad connection, and every path through it ends somewhere measurable: a form, a call, a booking.

A template site tells a customer you are the same as every other option. It also carries the template's bloat, its unpatched plugins, and its generic structure, which is why it is slow and why it does not rank.

What this includes

  • Original design, not a resold theme: Layouts and a visual system built around your brand and your offer. Nothing is bought from a marketplace and reskinned.
  • Built for the phone first: Most local service traffic is mobile. Desktop, tablet, and mobile layouts are each designed, not left to a framework to reflow badly.
  • Conversion paths that are tracked: Forms, click-to-call, booking links, and calls-to-action, each wired to analytics so you can see which ones produce work.
  • Performance as a requirement: Image and code optimization, a caching strategy, and a Core Web Vitals pass. Speed is a ranking input and a conversion input at the same time.
  • Search structure from day one: Indexing controls, sitemap, metadata, heading structure, internal linking, and structured data built in rather than bolted on later.

Common questions

How long does a custom website take to build?

A five-page Essential build typically runs a few weeks from signed proposal to launch. Larger builds with backend functionality, integrations, or location pages take longer. You see the working build at the halfway point before the balance is due.

Do you use WordPress, Wix, or Squarespace?

No. Those platforms carry plugin and theme code you did not write and cannot audit, which is where most small-business site compromises begin. We build custom so the only code running is code that is there for a reason.

Who owns the website when it is finished?

You do. The site, the content, and the data are yours. The monthly plan covers hosting, monitoring, backups, and maintenance, not ownership of your own business asset.

What happens after launch?

The managed plan covers hosting, backups, uptime and vulnerability monitoring, and a set number of content or update requests each month. Professional and Premier also include recurring technical SEO and performance checks.

Where this sits in an engagement

Included at every level. Every engagement is a fixed implementation price agreed before work starts, paid half at signing and half at launch, with the working build shown to you at the halfway point. After launch it moves onto a managed monthly plan.
